Does your dog need a new home?
At Animal Rescue Qld we know circumstances sometimes change and even with the very best intentions pet owners may need to find a new home for their dog. We will try and assist if we can.
That said, we encourage all owners to try and resolve their issues before surrendering their family member. Sometimes, there is a simply solution to your issues, and that may mean you get to keep your dog. There's some great tips to an array of different scenarios and help that can be found by clicking here.
If you can't work through your issues and are still considering surrendering your pet please try and give as much notice as possible. This allows us time to try and find a foster home. There are dozens of people that need our help every week so planning ahead is very helpful. To start the surrender process please fill out the rehome application form here.
Please note, we cannot help in every situation, as it depends on our available foster homes and our resources to appropriately care for your animal until it's adopted. Please consider contacting a few different rescue groups that can be found by clicking here.
Can you help us too?
Animal Rescue Qld rehome about 500 animals a year, and we rely heavily on the kindness and generosity of donations to help us pay the bills and cover our expenses of looking after these homeless dogs.
